We need to create an Alumni page for past members of SEF team. In this thread we’ll share the updates regarding this

Should it be a similar page like SEF team page. Can you give me a brief introduction how should it look? @Minuri_Adasuriya

@Gimhan_minion It would be similar to the team page but it would not have sub sections but a single section.

what happened to the old Alumni page? did we delete it entirely from the backend of the sef website?

Yes @Minuri_Adasuriya, but we can get them from the v2.0 archive.

This is the draft page I’ve created for Alumni page. I just used a random image for the draft. We’ll come up with a good one later :upside_down_face:. @Minuri_Adasuriya @akshika47 Can you help me with the title, description, and the category heading(Ex:- Executive committee)? Please give me your suggestions. Thank you :hugs:

@Gimhan_minion we don’t need sections for this as alumni it-self is one group. Maybe we can all these at the end of the team section as well(after design team) so we don’t have to have a separate page.

Here’s the PR for the alumni section. I had some blockers while doing this.

  1. One of the links mentioned in google sheet didn’t work & one is blank. So i just used a blank image for those. I marked the one which is not working in the sheet itself
  2. Since the linkedin profiles was absent in the sheet I didn’t add it yet. If there are profile links I can add them as well.
  3. I just used the exact hierarchy in the google sheet which i think should change.

I’ve finished updating the LinkedIn profiles I could find, in the google sheet itself. I couldn’t find profiles related to 5 people. Please check and let me know if it’s okay or not. Here’s the link to the sheet.
