Hi all,
Currently, we have 6 program states.
1. Created
2. Mentor Application Period
3. Mentor Selection Period
4. Mentee Application Period
5. Mentee Selection Period
6. Ongoing Program
But there’ll be some issues if we have only 6 program states. As an example,
If a mentee gets approved by multiple mentors it would mess the process.
To overcome this problem we thought to introduce a new program state called Mentor Confirmation Period.
In this program state, if a mentee gets chosen by multiple mentors, the mentee gets to choose any mentor he wishes.
After implementing this new program state there’ll be 7 program states.
1. Created
2. Mentor Application Period
3. Mentor Selection Period
4. Mentee Application Period
5. Mentee Selection Period
6. Mentor Confirmation Period
7. Ongoing Program
I’ll be adding this new program state to Change State UI in the dashboard.
