Changing the names of contributor hierarchy

As discussed in the previous standup, it was suggested by @anjisvj to revamp the names used for contributor hierarchy (git gojira, open source behemoth, etc…) since there is no clear cut precedence between each level. I suggest the following:

Master
Expert
Journeyman
Apprentice
Novice

If you guys have an idea for a better list of names please mention them below.

Thank you @DESIRA for initiating this. This sounds good but can we make it something a bit technical ex: dev. What do you think @jaye?

We can also follow Google’s structure Software Engineer - I, Software Engineer-II, Software Engineer - III etc.

This is what openmrs is using (dev level + a nickname).
/dev/null - Noob
/dev/1 - Beginner
/dev/2 - Coder
/dev/3 - Skilled
/dev/4 - Expert
/dev/5 - Guru

Btw, what’s the separation between the developer hierarchy and the engineering team? For example, do we recruit all the people who reached the highest level to the Engineering team?

I think they should be aligned, right?
