Displaying past onelives on the website

Now there are going to be three videos in the onelive homepage.

Here’s a quick update:-
There was a problem with long video descriptions and now it’s fixed. Let me list down the next steps.

  • Load more videos to the archive using page token which is stored in the payload
  • Implement a better UI to show the videos

Thanks for the update @anjisvj!
Could you please add some rough deadlines?

is fixed with this pr. I think I can finish it tomorrow.

Good job @anjisvj! I’ve add some comments there.

This pr fixes the Implement a better UI to show the videos step. We need to create a video modal so that the user can watch the videos within the site. For the 3 videos in one-live homepage, I think it should stay the way it is now. Give me your thoughts on this. I’m looking forward to finishing this today.

This is the component that we designed to show onelives on onelive page. Now it’s on the examples/component page.

Hey guys,

Awesome work. Few suggestions. Let me know what you think.

  • How about we have 3-4 videos per row? Just having the thumbnail could be enough for this. Cos otherwise the list could be too long(unless we have a filter option)
  • Later on, we can add a feature to view the video without leaving the website(like a pop-up or even something responsive)

We will use a modal to show the video. If we use 3 video per row it will look something like this.

+1 for the pop-up

I personally love the single row design. :innocent: Just my opinion.
@janithRS @Bawantha_Rathnayaka what do you think?

Yes I Like the single row design as well

Ok! I will let the designers decide

the one-live branch is now merged to the master. There’s have to be few changes on the youtube playlist,

  1. Remove private videos
  2. Sort the playlist to show the newest videos first.

Good job! Asel is the person to help you with this. It seems he is not on the Hive. Please invite him to join this thread.

sure, I’ll invite him.

Thanks @anjisvj! This is more than I expected. To be honest, when we started the project I wasn’t sure we could pull this off but you certainly did it and did it well. :100:
